Steve Goldman

    Hi, My name is Steve. I’m 57 years old and weigh 200 lbs. I’ve lost over a hundred pounds over a period of about one year. My trainer and mentor is a young lady, her name is Taralin. Her method of “madness” is a copulation of two things:
    1. Food is foremost; eating the right things at the right time is important; I have between 3 or 4 meals a day. It should be 5, but you know how it is.
    2. The second is cardio 4-6 times a week; at least 30 minutes plus 45 minutes lifting weights 3-4 times a with one free day a week. (Sunday for me)
    I work the hardest when Taralin is training me. She has me doing things I haven’t done since I was in high school. For instance, even in high school, I didn’t run much except in Football and Baseball; never in track. I’m running 5ks now, not fast, but at least I finish in a reasonable time. It’s really fun once you get past the 1st wind and into the 2nd wind. And the key to remember is Don’t Stop! If you stop you’re done!

    Alongwith cardio and weights she has motivated me into a totally different lifestyle. My diabetes is lower now since I have been training with her. She is also a hero to me; she is a returning veteran from Iraq. You’ll love her personality and her energy. Have fun and get healthy!!
