"Order with a side of fruit - great selection of fruits in mixture. Sometimes they don't have avocado. They usually serve this with chips & often forget to give you the fruit (I eat here often & have had this happen to me 5x already and a friend once)! Take the order back and demand fruit when this happens! One of my favorite quick stops downtown - and can`t beat the free internet."

All entreès are served with fresh house baked wheat bread - made with orfanic flour - my favorite in town!, a salad of mixed organic Santa Barbara Farmers market greens.

Conclusion: If trying to cut weight, eat 1/2 piece of bread, skip soup & then have lamb & veggies. If you have everything offered, you're getting an Exchange of approximately 7,4,2 of Carb, Protein, Fat. Overall great quality, though - I was impressed with everything but the preserved veggies.

"Restaurant has an outdoor area that is great for people watching right on state street with nice heating, but bland architecture & greenery. Also, there are always smokers out there when I dine. Ew! I thought we had laws about this?"

"Kahuna Grill is a fast food joint. Their food is highly preserved. This means a ton of sodium. I don't have exact numbers, but I wouldn't be surprised if this sandwich has 1000mg of sodium! It normally comes with mayonaisse and a sauce. I always recommend getting sandwiches dry. The pineapple adds a nice zest if you do get it dry. It would also be preferred they have avocado."

"This restaurant is great for Vegans. Unlike the Natural Cafe, these meals actually are natural. The Natural Cafe is highly preserved and is a fast food restaurant. While Sojourner isn't gourmet, it is one of the best choices for vegans in town. Being a carnivore, I just add chicken or turkey to any of their excellent meals and turn it into a great choice."
