We believe fitness should be fun & a learning experience. A personal trainer merely works you out. With fitness coaching, you will develop skills in various areas of sports & athletics as your weight drops! Unlike going to the gym, we offer activities that you normally wouldn't consider a workout. This is a typical schedule we might recommend for a client:

Mondays: Do a practice 5k run
Tuesdays: Sword Fighting at MOVBootcamp
Wednesdays: Plyometrics with Brenda
Thursdays: Kettlebells with Brandi
Fridays: Boxing with Matt
Saturdays: Hiking with MOVBootcamp
Sundays: Off

While this looks fun & full of games, we actually have fitness strategies planned in every activity. If you look closer at the schedule, you'll notice we have the client doing an endurance run on Mondays followed by a fun martial art workout on Tuesdays. Then, Wednesdays are a pure lower body workout.
Thursdays? Another hardcore leg workout with a powerful weight lifting regimen. Yet, the Monday workout works more on endurance, kettlebells are higher resistance. Then, Friday is working out the arms again with a very fun boxing routine.

After such a long week, we recommend a fun activity like Beach Volleyball or soccer with our exciting group of girls with MOVBootcamp. In this week, I threw in a hike. Your schedule should vary week to week.


This is just one example of many schedules we put together for our clients. We love the outdoors & recommend enjoying them as much as possible if you live in this area!

After 3 months of a routine, we will recommend an entirely new program to give the mind & body a new challenge. Listed below are some of our favorite activities we specialize in:

    Pair up with a friend or let us match you with a training partner. This adds a different dynamic to training and lowers your cost of a trainer!


    Sword Fighting is an awesome upper body workout. Learn our choreographed routines and practice on your own, in private sessions, or in our bootcamp! This is a fun workout that is empowering and invigorating.


    Kettlebell training provides explosive power needed in athletes and aids in weight loss. This is a very high EPOC workout and is a lot of fun, too! Feel the rhythm of the weight in your hands while lifting to choreography & listening to music on the beach.


    Foil Stunk Kites are a great upper body workout & an exciting activity to learn. Kite boarding is an extreme sport where you can get a full body workout and progress in skill


    Our trainers use punching mitts while you unleash your anger with padded gloves. Another great upper body workout & great for the abs after you learn the technique. Our trainers have been trained by Matt Hackney who has worked with world champion level professional boxers.


Kayaking
    Kayak in the pacific ocean on your lunch break for a great workout. Our kayak trips can be quick & easy or you can make a day trip out of it. Whichever you prefer.


Running
    Run with a parachute, do plyometrics, learn HIIT Training, climb some stairs, or just take off on a 5k run! We make sure to cross train our runners to the best physique possible. Our expertise will prevent runners knee and cut your time on your races.


Hiking
    Trek up the 1000 steps at More Mesa, go on Rattlesnake Trail, Cold Springs Trail, and more. Our trainers know the best trails in town and can show you how to make a workout out of a hike.
