My name is Taralin Goldman and I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, in the process of being certified through the IFBB Pro (International Federation of Bodybuilders) as a Personal Fitness and Nutrition Instructor.
I have been a Certified Personal Trainer since November 2006, in which my clients have ranged from Sports Specific Training for Marathon runners, Rehabilitation Training for Injured Clients, as well as general health physical training and nutritional counseling.
I have been involved in health and fitness since I was 18 years old and absolutely love spreading the knowledge and motivation to anyone I can touch. My training experience and success includes my diabetic father, whom I have trained and assisted in losing over 100 pounds in one year. Through motivation and strive, I have also attended my first two figure model competitions, NPC, in California.
Some of my hobbies include any outdoor activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, still learning to surf, running, anything that will include my feet hitting the ground outdoors. I enjoy training clients outdoors as I feel this gives them that extra motivation and push to drive themselves.
No matter what situation my clients are facing, I am here to be their motivation, drive, and coach. I want them to know that I am proud to be a part of our beautiful country. Let’s explore it together!
Matt Hackney
founded MOVFitness in 2004. He has traveled the world expressing his love for fitness and health. Starting his career as a professional lifeguard, Matt has worked on many exotic beaches and, during the summer of 2005, lived on a deserted beach in the Caribbean.
Matt holds over 15 certifications including NESTA Fitness Nutrition Coach and Arthur Murray Ballroom Dance Instructor. Additionally, he trains professional athletes, celebrities, Fortune 500 CEOs, and the general public.
His expertise in nutrition has helped coach athletes to some amazing feats in Olympic swimming and other high endurance sports. He is also a certified Boxing Fitness Trainer and has worked with professional heavyweight boxers.
Matt enjoys spending his spare time ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray of Santa Barbara. He is also an avid runner, putting in well over 50 miles a week with a 5k Personal Record of 14:38.
